Georgia-based commercial real estate development firm S.J. Collins Enterprises has fully leased University Station, a 53,746-square-foot commercial project, which will be anchored by Sarasota’s second Whole Foods Market, the company has announced.

Located at the southwest corner of the intersection of University Parkway and Honore Avenue, University Station will feature a 41,668-square-foot Whole Foods Market, a news release notes. The store will be larger than the downtown Sarasota Whole Foods, the release points out.

Great Expressions Dental Centers, Lee Nails, Banfield Pet Hospital, Greenwise Dry Cleaner, Wawa and Zoë’s Kitchen have been confirmed for the center, as well, the release adds.

Wawa and Zoë’s Kitchen are both expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year, followed by the other tenants before the end of 2017 and more in early 2018, the release says. “The developer is waiting on an opening date for Whole Foods Market and will post it on the center’s Facebook page as soon as the grocery store makes an official announcement,” the release points out.

Founded in 2007, S.J. Collins Enterprises is a privately held, commercial real estate development firm that has worked on 19 retail shopping centers anchored by Whole Foods Markets or 365 by Whole Foods stores nationwide, the release says. The company is headquartered in Fairburn, Ga.
