An informational meeting about proposed enhancements to the Lido Beach Pavilion will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the eighth floor of the Lido Beach Resort, located at 700 Ben Franklin Drive in Sarasota, the City of Sarasota has announced.

The public is invited to attend the session, a news release says.

Lido Beach Redevelopment Partners LLC responded to an Invitation to Negotiate issued by the City of Sarasota to bolster the Lido Beach Pavilion as a recreational destination for residents and visitors, a news release explains. The proposal includes a tiki bar/restaurant with up to 350 seats, miniature golf and a splash pad, the release adds.

During the meeting, proposed designs will be on display for public review, and company representatives will be present to answer questions, the release notes. Staff with the city’s Procurement Division also will be on hand to discuss the Invitation to Negotiate process, the proposed lease and aspects of the development, the release says.

Attendees will be encouraged to provide comments about the proposed amenities through a written survey that will be distributed during the meeting, the release adds.
