On Jan. 15, 2016, Raven Air LLC will begin nonstop service to Key West from the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), the airport announced this week.

Based in Marco Island, Raven Air will offer the flights on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, using five-passenger aircraft, a news release says. The far is $129 each way, plus tax, the release adds.

The flights will depart Key West at 9:50 a.m. and arrive in Sarasota at 11 a.m., the release notes. They will leave SRQ at 11:30 a.m. and land in Key West at 12:40 p.m., it adds.

Bookings began on Dec. 15, the release continues.

Rick Piccolo, CEO of SRQ, says in the release that he and his staff “are looking forward to offering our communities travel options within the Sunshine State as we continue to grow.”

The addition of Raven Air brings the total number of carriers serving the airport to seven, the release points out.

Raven Air also is beginning service between Key West and Marco Island and between the island and Punta Gorda-Fort Myers, according to the airline’s owner, Jeffrey Fonner, in the release.
