Reindeer Games set for Christmas Day at Bobby Jones Golf Club

Non-competitive event will begin at 8:45 a.m.

The Eighth Annual Reindeer Games will be played at Bobby Jones Golf Club in Sarasota on Christmas Day, the City of Sarasota has announced.

The club is located at 1000 Circus Boulevard, northwest of the Beneva Road/Fruitville Road intersection.

“A fun, non-competitive shotgun start” will open play at 8:45 a.m. on the British course, a news release says. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:15 a.m.

The rate for 18 holes with a riding cart is $28, the release adds.

Players with a Reindeer Games receipt will receive a $3 discount on a $13 breakfast served by Mattison’s Grille on the Green, the release notes. Both golfers and non-golfers will be welcome for breakfast, the release says.
