Session to feature look back at 30 years of organization, as well as election of officers
The Coalition of City Neighborhood Associations of Sarasota (CCNA) will conduct a meeting via Zoom from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, the organization has announced.
Among the topics on the agenda will be a review of the past 30 years of the organization — presented by Kathy Kelly Ohlrich, Mollie Cardamone and Linda Holland — and the annual State of the City presentation that City Commissioner Jen Ahearn-Koch presented late last year before her term as mayor ended.
Additionally, the session will include the annual election of officers and district representatives. “CCNA By-laws provide that nominations may be made from the floor,” the meeting notice points out. “Officers must be members of an active CCNA neighborhood association and reside within the City. District Representatives must be members of an active CCNA neighborhood association and reside within the Commission District they represent. Floor nominees must be present to acknowledge their willingness to serve,” the notice adds.
Finally, an update will be provided on city information technology improvements, and unfinished business from 2020 will be reviewed.
