A temporary road closure on 10th Street in Sarasota from U.S. 41 to Cocoanut Avenue is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, and continue until 6 a.m. on Monday, March 30, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced.

During that period, no through traffic will be permitted on 10th Street, a news release says.

Residents from The Jefferson Center will be able to access their driveway, “and pedestrian crossings will be maintained,” the release adds.

Detour signs will be posted to guide motorists.

The closure is related to the construction of the roundabouts at the 10th Street and 14thStreet intersections with U.S. 41, the release points out.
