The application period for the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s “highly anticipated 2022 Gulf Coast Leadership Institute” is open, the Foundation has announced.

The Gulf Coast Leadership Institute “is designed to identify and develop aspiring, emerging, and experienced leaders who reflect the diversity of our region,” a news release explains. “For the 2022 class, up to 25 people will be selected to participate in a hybrid program of leadership development sessions over a two-month period,” the release adds. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 20. Applications are available at http://www.gulfcoastcf.org/GCLI.

“Led by faculty of the internationally acclaimed Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College, the institute will provide leadership skills and resources necessary” for the participants to make a positive impact on the community, the release points out.

“Gulf Coast Leadership Institute gives our community’s current and future leaders an opportunity to harness their leadership skills,” said Mark Pritchett, president and CEO of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, in the release. “This high-quality leadership development training provides a tremendous source of information for those individuals looking to take their leadership to the next level,” he added in the release.

The Gulf Coast Community Foundation is encouraging interested persons to apply for the unique Gulf Coast Leadership Institute, the release adds.

For more than 25 years, together with its donors, the Foundation “has transformed our region through bold and proactive philanthropy,” the release notes. “Gulf Coast is a public charity that was created in 1995 through the sale of the Venice Hospital.”
