The staff of the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, based in Osprey, is inviting the public to “indulge in culinary delights, sip delicious cocktails, and dance the night away in the glow of the moonlight” during the nonprofit’s Party in Paradise on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The event will support the Foundation’s mission “to protect Southwest Florida’s land and water for the benefit of people and nature,” a news release notes. “A limited quantity of early bird tickets” is available at a reduced rate, the release adds.

“Party in Paradise invites guests to experience the beauty of nature after dark as they step into a world of Moonlit Wonder,” the release continues. Taking place at the Foundation’s Bay Preserve headquarters in Osprey, “the event will see the property transformed into a nocturnal oasis,” the release points out. Guests will be able to enjoy traditional features such as dinner and dancing, “along with unique experiences and entertainment sure to surprise and delight,” the release adds.

“Party in Paradise will be an unforgettable evening showcasing the beauty and transformation of nature after the sun goes down,” said Sam Valentin, the Conservation Foundation’s director of marketing and events, in the release.

The event will begin at 6 p.m., the release says; cocktail attire is requested.

The limited quantity of discounted tickets is “going fast, though,” she noted, “so we encourage folks to buy now to not miss out!”

Ticket prices will increase to the full level on Aug. 1, the release adds, or sooner, if the early bird inventory runs out prior to that date.

General admission tickets provide for open seating, while “premium placement VIP tables” are available at various sponsorship levels, the release points out. High tops, cocktail tables, and lounge seating will be arranged throughout the event space, the release says.

Introduced as a replacement for the Foundation’s annual Palm Ball gala, the first Party in Paradise raised more than $350,000 to support the Conservation Foundation’s “vital and urgent work,” the release points out.
