Weekly garbage and recycling collections will remain on normal schedule
City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of Presidents’ Day, the city has announced.
“Weekly garbage, yard waste and recycling collections will not be impacted,” a city news release stresses.
The regular City Commission meeting will be held the following day, Tuesday, Feb. 16, with the first session at 2:30 p.m. and the evening session at 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers in City Hall, located at 1565 First St., the release adds
The Robert L. Taylor Community Complex will be open for regular business hours (6 a.m. to 8 p.m.), the release adds.
Bobby Jones Golf Club also will be open for its regular hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
