Public can learn about current and upcoming situations
Sarasota County’s Capital Projects and Public Works departments have developed a road closures master webpage that will be updated weekly, staff has announced.
The webpage will list major road and lane closures throughout the county that have been initiated by Capital Improvement Program and Publics Works projects, staff points out. Some closures associated with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) initiatives in the county, as well, staff says.
The webpage is at this link. A person may use the dropdown arrow next to each road name to see more details, including the duration of the closure and any other relevant notes.
“This page will be updated on Mondays and Fridays,” county Media Relations Officer Brianne Grant told The Sarasota News Leader this week.
