Support Our Schools ( “was formed to support Sarasota public schools and ensure a quality education for all children,” the release explains. “We educate the public and advocate on behalf of the public education system. We strongly believe in the power of public education. We believe that all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion, are entitled to modern education in a safe and inclusive environment. We support our teachers, administrators, and our school board as we work together to provide the highest quality education to all children,” the release adds.
