GoFundMe page established to honor the deceased

This is the top of a GoFundMe page for the victims of the Amberlea neighborhood and Fort Lauderdale shootings on Feb. 10.

With its detectives continue investigating multiple shootings within the Amberlea neighborhood on Feb. 10, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on the relationships of the victims.

As The Sarasota News Leader has reported, two of the owners of the house standing at 4822 Fallcrest Circle — near the intersection of Proctor and McIntosh roads — were among the four victims found in the home.

The two owners were Anatoly Ioffe, 61; and Florita Stolyar, 66, as shown in the records maintained by Sarasota County Property Appraiser Bill Furst and  his staff.

The other victims in the house, identified by the Sheriff’s Office, were Olga Greinert, 49; and Yaroslav Blyudoy, 39.

The suspect — Russell Kot, 51 — died at the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot, the Sheriff’s Office noted last week.

Along with those victims, two people found murdered in Fort Lauderdale were connected to the Sarasota victims, the Sheriff’s Office reported. Those individuals were identified as Larisa Blyudaya, 46, and her son, Ben Azivov, 18, in a report by the Miami NBC affiliate, Channel 6.

“Detectives have learned that Kot “moved from Illinois to Fort Lauderdale in the fall of 2025, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. Kot was living with Larissa Blyudaya, who was “the daughter of Florita Stolyar, until the end of 2025, when the two separated,” the release noted.

On Feb. 12, a South Florida Sun Sentinel article about the murders said that Seth Ginsberg, whom it identified as “an attorney representing surviving members of [Larisa] Bludaya’s family,” told reporter Rafael Olmeda, “ ‘Blyudaya allowed Kot to stay in her residence as a guest temporarily while he looked for a permanent place to stay in Florida.’ ”

Ginsberg “refuted earlier reports indicating a romantic relationship between Kot and Blyudaya,” the article added. “ ‘He was only to live there until her son, Ben, came to live with her in January. Larisa and Kot were not romantically involved,’ ” Ginsgberg said.

The News Leader also read in the Sun Sentinel article that a GoFundMe page had been set up to honor the victims. As of late morning on Feb. 19, $136,563 of the $150,000 goal had been raised, the page noted.

That page said that Blyudaya also had a daughter, Eve.

The News Leader learned from Florida Division of Corporations records that Ioffee of Sarasota was the registered agent of Argomed Group LLC, whose address on a document was the same as that of the Amberlea home. However, the mailing address for the corporation was 1307 S. Tamiami Trail in Osprey, which is the location of the Osprey PolyClinic medical practice, the News Leaderfound. Social media posts that the News Leader reviewed reported that Ioffe was a doctor in that practice.

In reviewing the Articles of Incorporation for Argomed Group LLC, the News Leader further read that Larisa Blyudaya was one of the other three managers of the limited liability company. When that document was filed with the Division of Corporations — in June 2022 — her address was listed in Deerfield, Illinois.

The other two managers had addresses in Northfield, Illinois, the document showed.

“A review of [suspect] Kot’s cellular phone records did not reveal any apparent triggering event prior to the shootings involving Larissa or any member of her family,” the Sheriff’s Office news release continued. “Records do indicate that Kot had previously either stayed at the Fallcrest residence or cared for the family’s animals in the months leading up to the incident,” it added. “Investigators also confirmed that he met Olga Greinert, the family’s housekeeper, at least once at the residence,” it pointed out.

A search warrant was executed on Kot’s vehicle, where two handguns, ammunition, five knives, rope, tape, and an axe were located, the Sheriff’s Office release said. “These items were in addition to the two handguns he was carrying when he entered the Fallcrest residence,” it added.

“Investigators have determined that after killing Olga Greinert and Yaroslav Blyudoy, Florita Stolyar’s son, Kot sent a suicidal text message to members of his family,” the release continued. “He then remained at the Fallcrest residence until Florita and her husband, Anatoly Ioffe, returned home. Upon their arrival, both were shot and killed. Kot then shot himself,” the release said.

“Crime Scene Analysts recovered more than 20 shell casings inside the residence. Each victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds,” the report noted.

Detectives are continuing their efforts “to establish a motive for these crimes,” the release pointed out. “Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Section at 941-861-4900.”
