For general public, hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has resumed fingerprinting services as of May 21, the department announced this week.
As of that date, a news release said, “all sexual offenders, sexual predators, and members of the public seeking fingerprinting services” must report to the Sheriff’s Office headquarters, which is located at 6010 Cattleridge Blvd. in Sarasota.
Fingerprinting services for the general public will be offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the release added.
“Registration services for sexual offenders and sexual predators will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays” between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the release noted.
“Services will not be offered on weekends or holidays,” the release said.
Because of statutory requirements, “criminal and career offender registrations take place at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility,” which is located at 2020 Main St. in Sarasota, the release added. “Registration is available 24/7/365.”
