The organization STOP! will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, in the auditorium of Selby Library in downtown Sarasota, the City of Sarasota has announced.

The session will feature discussion of the topic, The Citizen’s Voice: Reclaiming a Seat at the Table, a news release says.

The library is located at 1331 First St. in Sarasota.

STOP! was organized last fall as a response to residents’ concerns about how some development projects have been allowed to proceed in the city of Sarasota, including the Vue Sarasota Bay at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Gulfstream Avenue.
