Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner this week announced that voters who cast ballots in Precincts 123 and 129 will be voting at a new location, effective with the March 14 municipal elections.

The polling place for those voters will be the First Brethren Church of Sarasota, located at 150 N. Shade Ave. in Sarasota, a news release says.

The Elections Office has mailed new Voter Information Cards containing updated information to registered voters living in the affected precincts, the release adds.

Turner recommends that all voters confirm their registration status and polling location prior to Election Day. A voter may go to www.SarasotaVotes.com, click on the “Precinct Finder” icon at the top of the home page and then enter his or her home address and follow the instructions to find current polling place and other information, the release points out.

Voters also may call the Elections Office at 861-8619 for help, the release notes.
