The Atomic Holiday Bazaar will return to Robarts Arena at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on Saturday, Dec. 6, and Sunday, Dec. 7, from noon to 5 p.m. both days, organizer Adrian Lucas has announced.

“The craft show was shuttered last year due to Mother Nature’s hurricanes,” a news release says, “but it’s back for holiday season shopping!”

The release points out that, “[a]s always,” Atomic will feature “a fresh range of handmade indie artsy-crafty items for all … Atomic is the holiday shopping destination for people who like unique one of a kind arts and crafts.”

The release adds that Atomic tote bags will be passed out by members of the local roller derby league, the Bradentucky Bombers, “to the first 100 adult’ish humans who enter the arena with a paid ticket when the doors swing open” at noon for the beginning of each show. The totes will feature “artwork created specifically for the show” and will be “filled with vendor swag,” such as the Atomic-themed brooch produced by vendor C.A.B. Fayre, along with coupons that may be used during Atomic, the release continues.

“Golden Tickets that will be found in just a few of the totes” will give each of those lucky shoppers an extra special, vendor-made gift,” the release notes. “The tote bag’s glorious guts will be listed on the Atomic website for the curious a week before the Atomic weekend,” the release adds.

Admission to the main auditorium will be $6 for adults, while children age 12 and under will get in free, the release says.

Tickets will be available for purchase only at the Robarts Arena box office during show hours, the release stresses.

Two food trucks and the Robarts Arena Cantina “will be open for hungry shoppers,” the release notes.

Atomic features items that range from family-friendly status “to PG-Rated adult content,” the release points out.
