The Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Department is inviting children ages 12 and younger to attend the 14th annual Breakfast with Santa from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Newtown Estates Park in Sarasota.
“This free, fun event features a breakfast buffet, holiday music, toy giveaway, holiday crafts, a gift raffle and of course, a visit from Santa Claus,” a news release explains.
Sarasota County staff also is accepting donations of unwrapped toys at the following locations, the release notes:
- Newtown Estates Park, located at 2800 Newtown Blvd. in Sarasota.
- Twin Lakes Park, located at 6700 Clark Road in Sarasota.
- Sarasota County Administration Center (fifth floor), located at 1660 Ringling Blvd. in downtown Sarasota.
- Venice Community Center, located at 326 S. Nokomis Ave. in Venice.
- Woodmere Park, located at 3951 Woodmere Park Blvd. in Venice.
- Fruitville Library, located at 100 Coburn Road in Sarasota.
- Gulf Gate Library, located at 7112 Curtiss Ave. in Sarasota.
- North Sarasota Library, located at 2801 Newtown Blvd. in Sarasota.
