Facility expected to reopen in mid-December
Renovations are scheduled to begin on Nov. 12 — the day after Veterans Day — in the Circus Park Playground within the City of Sarasota’s Payne Park, city staff has announced.
Multiple upgrades and additions are planned, including the resurfacing of the entire grounds, repairs to equipment and the planting of trees, a news release says. The renovations are scheduled to be finished by mid-December.
While the upgrades are underway, the City of Sarasota Parks and Recreation District staff “encourages playtime at their other amazing parks!” the release adds.
Payne Park is located at 2010 Adams Lane in downtown Sarasota.
