The North Sarasota Library, located at 2801 Newtown Blvd. in Sarasota, will be closed Saturday, Sept. 30, for building maintenance, the county has announced.

The work will take place over the course of two days, so the library will be ready to re-open on Monday, Oct. 2, for its regular business hours, a news release explains.

Even though the facility will be closed over the weekend, the release says, the book drop will be available, so the public may return materials.

Two nearby libraries will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sept. 30: Selby Library, located at 1331 First St. in downtown Sarasota; and Fruitville Library, located at 100 Coburn Road in Sarasota, the release notes.
