On Tuesday, Aug. 29, a project entailing repairs to the pavement at the entrance to Turtle Beach Park, off Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key, will get underway, Sarasota County staff has announced.

Workers will be addressing a portion of Blind Pass Road, near the boat ramp, as well, a news release says.

The milling and resurfacing is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the release adds. The project is expected to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 1.

“Motorists should expect temporary lane closures,” the release points out. “Flagmen will be present during the work.”
Motorists also should use caution in the area and watch for pedestrians, cyclists and workers, the release says.
