‘Ballot packed full on front and back,’ supervisor of elections says
Sample ballots for the Nov. 3 General Election are available online, Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner announced this week.
Voters may access their personalized sample ballots by visiting SarasotaVotes.gov, navigating to the Sample Ballot page and entering the required information, Turner noted in a news release.
“The Nov. 3 General Election ballot contains important races and questions,” he added in the release. “In fact,” he continued, “measuring 8.5 x 17 inches, the ballot is packed full on the front and back,” Turner said. “I mention this because your sample ballot is great tool to research those races and questions before you vote. And if you are planning to vote in person for the Nov. 3 General Election, be sure to bring your completed sample ballot with you as a reference,” he added in the release.
Turner also is reminding voters that “mailed sample ballots will be sent to all registered Sarasota County voters, except those who have requested vote-by-mail (absentee) ballots, at the beginning of October.”
