Sarasota County staff has released the county’s 2018 Annual Report, “which offers a comprehensive look at the county’s most important projects, initiatives and accomplishments,” a news release says.

“The report focuses on how local government works for the taxpayer, while serving as an overview of how tax dollars are being spent,” the release explains.

“As an organization that prides itself on providing residents and visitors a premiere place to live and work,” Sarasota County utilizes the annual report as an opportunity “to highlight our achievements, initiatives and awards of the previous year,” said County Administrator Jonathan Lewis in the release. “We continue to foster community values, innovation and excellence which is illustrated throughout the report.”

The public may view the report online or pick up a copy at county offices or county libraries, while supplies last.
