Sheriff’s Office investigating stabbing in area of Royal Palms Mobile Home Park in Sarasota

‘Person of interest’ in custody

Just after 7 p.m. on Monday, March 17, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office announced that it was investigating a stabbing that occurred in the area of Royal Palms Mobile Home Park, which stands at 8705 S. Tamiami Trail, Lot 108, Sarasota.

“The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment,” the advisory noted.

“A person of interest is in custody at this time,” the advisory said, adding that that individual also was transported to a local hospital for treatment, as well.
