A section of Beneva Road from Markridge Road to Beneva Oaks Road in Sarasota has reopened in all directions, following repairs to a watermain line, Sarasota County officials have announced.
The watermain break occurred Memorial Day afternoon.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office made the decision to close the southbound lanes on the affected portion of road until repairs were completed, with the northbound lanes carrying traffic in both directions.
