13th annual Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week scheduled for June 1-14

About 90 restaurants set to participate

The 13th annual Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week will be observed June 1-14 with close to 90 restaurants participating, Visit Sarasota County has announced.

Throughout this year’s Savor Sarasota event, guests may enjoy $32 pre-fixe multi-course dinner menus, with multi-course lunch menus priced at $16, a news release points out.

Savor Sarasota was created by the county’s tourism agency to promote community dining establishments during a traditionally slower time of the year for tourism.

Visit Sarasota County’s website points out, “We’re known for having the #1 beach in the USA but we also have the highest concentrations of Zagat®-rated restaurants in Florida.”

This year 29 restaurants are new to the program, the release says: Amore Restaurant, Bonefish Grill – Sarasota; Bonefish Grill – Venice; Bravo Coastal Bar & Kitchen; Brick’s Smoked Meats; Café Epicure, Chaz 51, Chef Rolf’s New Florida Kitchen, Crab & Fin, Element – Modern Mediterranean Grill, El Greco Mediterranean Café, Evie’s Tavern on Main Street, EVOQ Restaurant, Farlow’s on the Water, Half Shell Seafood House, Howards Restaurant, Italian Tradition Restaurant & Martini Bar, Paradise Grill, PizzaSRQ, Prague, Rodizio Grill, Taverna Grill, The Bodhi Tree Café, The Coolinary, The Fountain Kitchen & Wine Bar, The Italian Grill, Tokaj and Two Senoritas.
