The local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, known as AAF Suncoast, is calling upon all local marketing and advertising professionals and students to submit their most creative work for the 2024 Local American Advertising Awards competition.

“Also known as the ADDY Awards, the competition is the industry’s largest and most representative contest, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year offered through local AAF chapters,” a news release explains. “Submissions are encouraged from both up-and-coming advertisers as well as experts across all advertising disciplines, regardless of career level,” the release adds.

“Conducted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local chapter phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition,” the release notes. “Concurrently across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards — recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions,” the release continues. District ADDY winners are forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards, the release points out.

The competition will close on Jan. 12, 2024. Visit https://www.aaf-suncoast.com/enter-to-the-american-advertising-awards for more information or to submit entries.

“The American Advertising Awards, brought to life by AAF Suncoast, serves as a magnificent spotlight for the creative talent right here in our community,” said AAF Suncoast President Selina Bostic in the release. “We extend an invitation to all businesses, skilled trades, agencies, and fellow members to join us for this year’s celebration,” Bostic continued. “Together, let’s champion the boundless creativity and strategic prowess of our vibrant local advertising industry.”

Area businesses and agencies also are invited to support the 2024 ADDY Awards through sponsorship packages ranging from $375 to $3,000, the release notes. “These packages have various opportunities to be showcased not only at the awards ceremony, but at annual events and marketing materials.
