Community meeting about Nature Park at Bobby Jones Golf Club to be held on Nov. 15 at Robert Taylor Community Complex

Conceptual designs to be presented

This is a portion of one of the concepts provided on the city website.

From 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Sarasota will host a community meeting about the planning for the Nature Park at Bobby Jones Golf Club, the city has announced.

That park will comprise “90 acres of stunning urban green space,” a city news release points out. “What could the future hold for it?”

The Nov. 15 session will include the presentation of the initial conceptual options for park amenities, the release notes. The meeting will be held at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, which stands at 1845 John Rivers St.

Those unable to attend the session may email comments to ParksAndRec@SarasotaFL.gov by Nov. 30, the release adds.
