Opportunity available through end of March

Members of the public are invited to take part in an online survey to help shape the future of Sarasota County parks and recreational programs, county staff has announced.
This initiative of the Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Department (PRNR) has been “designed to collect valuable community feedback to help enhance opportunities and services offered throughout the county,” a news release explains.
Through the end of March, residents and community stakeholders may access the survey at the following link: bit.ly/PRNRsurvey.
“The survey, which takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, provides residents with a unique opportunity to share their thoughts and influence the development of parks and programs in their neighborhoods,” the release points out.
“Community members are encouraged to share the survey link with family, friends and neighbors to ensure a broad range of input,” the release adds.
“As we continue to improve our parks and recreation services, it’s essential that we hear directly from the people who use them,” said Nicole Rissler, director of PRNR, in the release. “This survey is a great way for residents to contribute to the future of our community’s outdoor spaces and recreational programming.”
“A record total of 2,500 surveys were submitted by Sarasota County residents, seasonal residents and visitors for the Community Needs Assessment Survey in 2023,” the release points out.
