A three-hour time limit for parking in the City of Sarasota’s Rosemary Square parking lot, located at 1433 Fifth St., will be implemented beginning Tuesday, May 6, city staff has announced.

The lot, which contains 39 free public parking spaces, is located adjacent to the Rosemary Square building on Fifth Street, a news release notes.

“Updated signage will be installed on the morning of May 6,” the release says.

The lot’s updated three-hour time limit “is being enacted to increase turnover and the number of open free parking spaces in the vicinity, while allowing individuals to park for an hour longer” than the two-hour limit for on-street parking spaces nearby, the release explains.
