Sample ballots to be mailed in late July to voters who have not requested vote-by-mail ballots
Sample ballots for the Aug. 18 Primary Election have been made available online, Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner announced on July 13.
Voters may access their personalized sample ballots by visiting SarasotaVotes.gov, clicking on the “Sample Ballot” prompt on the homepage and entering the required information, a news release explains.
“Your sample ballot is one of the keys to a smooth voting experience for the Aug. 18 Primary Election,” Turner said in the news release. “Whether you download it from our website or grab it out of your mailbox, your sample ballot allows you to research the contests and questions you will see on your actual ballot,” he continued in the release. “Best of all, you can bring your completed sample ballot with you when you vote in person and use it as a reference.”
Turner is reminding voters that, at the end of July, sample ballots will be sent by mail to all registered Sarasota County voters, except those who have requested vote-by-mail (absentee) ballots, the release points out.
