Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner and his staff this week mailed sample ballots to 145,541 voter households in Sarasota County in advance of the March 8, School District Referendum and County Charter Referendum, Turner announced.

“Sample ballots are being sent to all voter households in the county, except those households in which all voters have requested vote-by-mail (absentee) ballots be mailed to them,” Turner explained in a news release.

Additionally, any voter may view or download the sample ballot at SarasotaVotes.gov, the release notes.

“Voters who plan to vote early or at their polling location on election day may mark their choices on the sample ballot and take it with them to use as a reference when they go to vote,” Turner added in the release.
