Equipment installed on Sept. 14
The Sarasota County Tax Collector’s Office has expanded access to self-service motor vehicle registration renewals by installing six kiosks on Sept. 14, the office has announced.
The first location was in North Port, a news release noted.
“Providing multiple service options is an important part of serving Sarasota County residents,” said Tax Collector Mike Moran in the release. “These additional kiosk locations give eligible customers another convenient way to renew their vehicle registration in just a few minutes and leave with their registration and decal in hand,” he added.
The kiosk locations are as follows:
- Publix at Cocoplum Village Shops — 17179 Tamiami Trail in North Port.
- Publix at Venice Commons — 1445 E. Venice Ave. in Venice.
- Publix at Sarasota Village Plaza — 3690 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota.
- Publix at Fruitville Farms — 1940 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. in Sarasota.
- Publix at Broadway Promenade — 1044 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.
- Sarasota County Tax Collector Mid-County Office — 6100 Sawyer Loop Road in Sarasota.
“Kiosks allow eligible customers to renew their motor vehicle registration using a renewal notice or license plate number,” the release explains. Upon completing an eligible transaction, a customer receives the registration and decal immediately, it points out.
