Numerous positions available
Sarasota County Government staff will host job fairs from this month through March throughout the county, staff has announced.
Hiring managers will be on-site at each event “to screen and interview job seekers who wish to apply for open positions with Sarasota County Government,” a news release says.
The following schedule has been set:
- Friday, Jan. 24 — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Frances T. Bourne Jacaranda Library, located at 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd. in Venice.
- Thursday, Feb. 6 — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Shannon Staub Library, standing at 4675 Career Lane in North Port.
- Tuesday, March 25 — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fruitville Library, located at
100 Apex Road in Sarasota.
Candidates should bring their resumes to the events, the news release points out.
“Sarasota County Government offers on-the-job training, tuition reimbursement and certification programs,” the release notes. “In addition to a robust benefits package” that includes health, dental and vision coverage, as well as life insurance and short-term and long-term disability assistance, Sarasota County “offers award-winning wellness and mental health programs,” the release adds. Further, it says, “Sarasota County is part of the Florida Retirement System.”
