The Siesta Key Association (SKA) Board of Directors has announced that it has organized volunteers to assist Keep Sarasota County Beautiful with the Liberty Litter Cleanup on July 5 at Siesta Public Beach.

“A happy 4th of July DESERVES A CLEAN 5th OF JULY!” an SKA email blast says.

From 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. on July 5, the SKA email continues, members and other volunteers are welcome at the tent that the nonprofit will have set up at the beach park. The email points out, “All are welcome!” It adds, “We will provide bags, a bit of shade, cold water and have our membership clipboard to update our [SKA membership list].”
