Admission is free; vehicle exhibitors welcome, with no registration fee charged
The main campus of Suncoast Technical College (STC) in Sarasota will host its 15th Annual Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, the Sarasota County School District has announced.
The event will feature cars, bikes and trucks; vendors; food; door prizes and a silent auction, a news release notes. Proceeds will help send STC students to the state and national SkillsUSA Championships, the release adds. “SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry [representatives] working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce,” the release explains.
Admission to the event is free, and no registration fee is required from vehicle exhibitors, the release points out.
Box lunches, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be available for purchase, the release adds.
Suncoast Technical College is located at 4748 Beneva Road in Sarasota.
