FDOT crew to begin striping operations on both lanes of River Road
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 9, a traffic shift will be in effect from just south of Interstate 75 to north of Stoney Creek Boulevard in Venice, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced.
Stoneycreek Boulevard is just north of Center Road, a map shows.
That day, crews will begin striping operations on both the northbound and southbound lanes of River Road (State Road 777), the FDOT advisory explains. During the work, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper will be present at the Venice Avenue intersection, the advisory adds.
“Please use caution in the area and consider additional travel time,” the advisory says.
