Sept. 15 the final day for submissions
This week, Caring Collective (formerly The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center) announced its plans for the Third Annual Chief Executive Peer Circles (CEPC) Program, “which is designed for nonprofit leaders committed to enhancing their leadership skills, expanding their network, and implementing innovative solutions to organizational challenges,” as noted in a news release.
Chief executive nonprofit professionals serving Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties may apply for the program through the extended deadline of Tuesday, Sept. 15, the release notes. To review materials related to the program, visit www.caring-collective.org.
“Leadership can be isolating, but it doesn’t have to be,” said Charlene Altenhain, CEO of Caring Collective, in the release. “Over the past two years,” Altenhain continued, “we’ve seen firsthand how meaningful peer connections and shared learning strengthen nonprofit leadership and, ultimately, the organizations they serve,” she added. “As we launch our third year of the Chief Executive Peer Circles, we’re proud to continue providing a space where nonprofit leaders can build relationships, gain perspective, and return to their organizations better equipped to serve our community.”
“Participating in the Chief Executive Peer Circles with the Caring Collective has been incredibly meaningful,” said Heather Todd, CEO of Teen Court of Sarasota, in the release. “As a CEO,” Todd continued, “it is rare to have a space where you can be both honest and supported by peers who truly understand the weight of leadership. This group provided connection, encouragement, perspective and a sense of community that is deeply needed in executive roles. I appreciated the opportunity to learn from others, share openly, and be reminded that none of us are leading alone,” she noted in the release.
