Reading three books will earn children and teens a voucher for two tickets to March 5 game with Twins

The Big League Reader program is returning for its 15th year, the staff of the Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources Department has announced.
The staff once again is teaming up with the Baltimore Orioles “to give young readers a chance at a triple play,” a news release says.
Children and youth ages 6 to 18 may participate in the program by picking up a scorecard from any Sarasota County library, the release explains. After reading and recording three books, each child or teen can return the completed scorecard to the library to receive an Orioles prize and a ticket voucher, the release adds.
“The voucher is good for two tickets to see the Baltimore Orioles take on the Minnesota Twins at Ed Smith Stadium on Sunday, March 9, at 1:05 p.m., the release points out. The voucher can be redeemed online by March 5.
The Big League Reader partnership between Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources and the Orioles promotes “literacy and a love of reading,” the release notes.
