The Gulf Coast Community Foundation has announced the promotion of Kelly Carlstein to vice president of brand strategy.

Previously, Carlstein served as the director of strategic marketing and public relations, a position she held for more than three years, a news release points out. During that time, the release adds, she launched Gulf Coast’s 25th anniversary campaign and brand.

“She will lead the public relations and communications efforts that enhance and position the Gulf Coast brand across the region,” the release notes.

“Kelly has been a strong asset to our team since the day she started,” said Mark Pritchett, president and CEO of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, in the release. “She leads our marketing team with steady hands, infusing her skillset with our board, leadership, and staff to enhance and elevate our messaging and brand. We are honored to see her continue to thrive at Gulf Coast.”

Before joining Gulf Coast, Carlstein served at Healthcare Corp. of America’s (HCA) Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, where she worked on the marketing and public relations team and was involved in marketing strategy, campaign launches, events, and community sponsorship and engagement, the release points out.

At Gulf Coast, “Carlstein has led digital and traditional marketing strategies and innovative storytelling in coordination with donors and community partners,” the release says.

For more than 25 years, Gulf Coast Community Foundation has been dedicated to serving the needs of the region “through integrity, leadership, excellence, and collaboration,” the release points out.
