Facility will be open during its normal hours Dec. 27-30
In observance of the holidays, the Disaster Recovery Center located at the Shannon Staub Library in North Port will be closed from Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Dec. 26, as well as from Saturday, Dec. 31, through Monday, Jan. 2, Sarasota County Emergency Services Department staff has announced.
The library stands at 4675 Career Lane in North Port, on the campus of the Suncoast Technical College.
The Disaster Recovery Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 27 through Dec. 30, a news release says. It will resume normal hours on Jan. 3 — 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The facility is closed on Sundays, the release points out.
