Sarasota County voters will be able to access free, bilingual voter guides for the Nov. 3 General Election at four Sarasota County Public Libraries starting next week or online now at lwvsrq.org, the League of Women Voters of Sarasota County has announced.

Those libraries are Jacaranda, Elsie Quirk, North Port and Selby, a news release notes.

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County (LWVSRQ) also “has created flyers in English and Spanish featuring links and QR codes to Vote411.org, the League’s voter guides, and live and recorded candidate forums,” the release points out.

“The League’s voter guides provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the issues that matter most to the community,” the release explains. “Before each election, the Sarasota League identifies issues of particular importance to local voters and develops questions addressing those issues for candidates in each race,” the release says. “Candidates are invited to respond, giving voters an opportunity to compare their positions and make informed choices at the polls,” the release adds.

“We were delighted to achieve a 100% candidate response rate to our 2026 local candidate questions,” said Rhonda Peters, co-president of the League of Women Voters of Sarasota County, in the release. “Compiling, printing and distributing these guides is a service we provide free of charge to Sarasota County voters,” Peters continued in the release. “Our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of our donors make this important nonpartisan voter service possible.”

The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County encourages all eligible voters to use these resources to learn about the candidates and issues before casting their ballots, the release adds.
