Additionally, Sarasota County’s Chemical Collection Centers located at 8750 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota and 250 S. Jackson Road in Nokomis, along with the Re-Uz-It Shop located at 8750 Bee Ridge Road, also will be closed on Dec. 24, as well as on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

The landfill will remain open until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, and Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 because of the holiday collection schedule, the release says. However the construction and demolition area will close at 2 p.m. those days.
