More than 600 girls and boys, ages 11 to 18, “have converged on Siesta Key Beach this week for the USA National Beach Tour Junior National Championships,” USA Volleyball has announced.

Teams in the 12-and-under and 16-and-under age groups will compete July 19-21, a news release notes. Teams in the 14-and-under and 18-and-under age groups will compete July 22-24, the release adds.

“Admission is free and spectators are welcome,” the release points out.

USA Volleyball will stream four courts live at http://bit.ly/USAVwatch.

“The USA National Beach Tour Championships culminates a series of qualification events beginning in February,” the release explains. The top four pairs in each division from Beach National Qualifiers (BNQ) — along with “a select number of bid winners as part of the Beach Regional Qualifiers (BRQ)” — earned spots in the national championships events, the release says.

Additionally, a Patriot Division will be open to all beach volleyball teams with members ages 11-18, the release notes.
