Friday, Nov. 30, will be the final opportunity to pay Sarasota County property taxes with a 4% discount, Sarasota County Tax Collector Barbara Ford-Coates is reminding the public.

“Our offices are closed November 22nd and 23rd in observance of Thanksgiving, and the last week of November is a very busy time in our offices,” said Ford-Coates in a news release. “To better serve our customers who like to hand deliver their payment, the annual property tax drive-thru service will be available two days this year,” Ford-Coates added.

On Monday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 30, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., customers may pay taxes without leaving their vehicles at the Terrace Building in downtown Sarasota and in Venice at the R.L. Anderson Administration Center, the release points out. Payments by check only will be accepted at these locations, the release stresses.

At the Mid-County Tax Collector’s Office, located at 6100 Sawyer Loop Road in Sarasota, all forms of payments will be accepted in the drive-through lane, the release notes.
