Sarasota County tax collector’s and property appraiser’s offices to be closed July 3-4 for July Fourth holiday, in accord with governor’s announcement

Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Monday announcement that all state offices will be closed an extra day for the July Fourth weekend, Sarasota County Property Appraiser Bill Furst and Tax Collector Mike Moran have announced that their offices will be closed on July 3 and 4 in observance of Independence Day.

All of the office locations will be open for their regular hours on Wednesday, July 2, a news release points out. They will resume normal operations on Monday, July 7, the release adds.

With numerous services available online, the release points out, anyone needing assistance while the offices are closed may visit the appropriate website.
