The Sarasota Memorial Health Care System has appointed Jen Rosati as chief financial officer (CFO), effective as of Feb. 17, the health care system has announced.

“Rosati, who previously served as Sarasota Memorial’s vice president of financial operations, has nearly 20 years of comprehensive health care financial management,” a news release points out. Before joining Sarasota Memorial in June 2024, she served as chief financial officer of Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, the release notes. Prior to that, it continues, “she led the Corporate Finance Department at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida.”

A Certified Public Accountant, Rosati began her career in finance at Ernst & Young, serving as a lead audit manager, “focused on the health care industry and compliance with statutory reporting requirements,” the release adds.

Rosati, who grew up in Nokomis, graduated from high school in Osprey and attended the University of Miami, where she earned a B.B.A in accounting and finance, the release notes.

“Rosati succeeds Jeff Limbocker, who was appointed CFO in 2022,” the release points out. He was promoted to chief operating officer (COO) in May 2024 and has been serving in a temporary dual role as COO and CFO, the release explains.

With Rosati’s appointment, Limbocker will “focus exclusively on his role as COO during a time of critical growth for the health system,” the release adds. He continues to oversee daily operations of the health system, ensuring that “services and programs align with the health system’s strategic plans,” the release says. He “will play a key part in SMH’s upcoming transition to the Epic health record platform, development of a new hospital in North Port and other growth projects, it points out.

“As Sarasota Memorial expands to meet the community’s needs, we are fortunate to have an exceptional leadership team focused on maintaining our 5-star patient care, supportive work environment and strong operating and financial performance,” Sarasota Memorial CEO David Verinder said in the release.
