Location between State Road 776 and Jacaranda Boulevard
On Tuesday, April 22, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office issued an advisory saying that it is investigating a death that occurred about 2 a.m. that day in the area of 3980 South Tamiami Trail in Venice, between State Road 776 and Jacaranda Boulevard.
The advisory, which was issued at 4:52 a.m. on April 22, noted that traffic in that area could be affected.
A Sarasota News Leader online search found that that South Tamiami Trail address is the location of the Stylin & Design Salon.
As of that initial announcement, the Sheriff’s Office pointed out, the next of kin of the deceased individual had not been notified.
