At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, the Education Center at Temple Beth Israel on Longboat Key will host a free, bipartisan election information event that all are welcome to attend in person or via Zoom, the Temple has announced.

“Conceived and co-sponsored by The Miracle on the Key, a group of Republicans and Democrats who are proving that members of the two parties can indeed work together, this cooperative event will feature Ron Turner,” Sarasota County’s supervisor of elections, a news release says.

Turner will discuss state elections regulations — including the latest changes approved by the Legislature — which will govern the Primary and General Election this year, the release notes. Among the races on the ballots will be those for Sarasota County School Board and County Commission, the release adds.

“Sarasota County has good reason to be proud of Mr. Turner for his dedication and delivery of free and fair elections in our community,” the release says.

Temple Beth Israel is located at 567 Bay Isles Road on Longboat Key. All are welcome to attend the event in person without advance registration, the release points out.
