Pre-registration required by end of April 9
Leaders of Keep Sarasota County Beautiful (KSCB) are inviting the public to take part in the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, Apr. 12, from 8 to 10 a.m. at numerous locations across Sarasota County.
“This annual event brings together volunteers to help beautify and protect the local environment by removing litter and debris from public spaces,” a news release explains. “Pre-registration is required because of the high level of dedication in the community,” the release adds. “High attendance is expected at these events. “
Those interested in participating are encouraged to register early to secure their spots, the release continues, “as the number of spots will vary by location.” Registration will end on Wednesday, April 9.
“Eleven different locations will be available for the Great American Cleanup throughout Sarasota County,” the release points out.
