In conjunction with State of Florida office closures, Sarasota County Property Appraiser Bill Furst and Sarasota County Tax Collector Mike Moran have announced that their offices will be closed from July 2 through July 6.

The decision follows Gov. Ron DeSantis’ announcement on June 12 that all state offices will be closed additional days for the July Fourth weekend and in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, a news release says.

All of the Tax Collector’s Office and Property Appraiser Office locations will be open for their regular hours on Wednesday, July 1, the release points out. They will resume normal operations on Tuesday, July 7. Since numerous services are available online, anyone needing assistance while the offices are closed has resources available to them, the release notes.
